DAY 01 : Airport / Sigiriya

Arrival to Colombo International Airport and meet guide at the airport arrival lobby.
Transfer from Airport to Sigiriya
Climb the citadel of Sigiriya which was built in 5th century. Sigiriya is treated as one of the most remarkable creations in the world, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD). Path through the gardens along Stone stairways come to the Lion Gate. Only the rock carving and the brick structure is evident today of the lion’s mouth through which millions of people have walked to admire he beauty of this magnificent citadel.
Hot Air Balloon
Treat yourself to a hot air balloon ride over the beautiful countryside of Sri Lanka. There are few pleasures as unforgettable as drifting gently over breathtaking views. It’s an experience you’ll never forget!
Village Tour
Enjoy an excursion that takes you through the real Sri Lankan Villages. Clients will be able to ride on a Bullock Cart, a three wheeler & have a homely cooked meal. It is very pleasant experience!!

DAY 02 : Sigiriya / Polonnaruwa / Minneriya

Transfer from Dambulla to Polonnaruwa
Explore Polonnaruwa by Cycle
Visit Polonnaruwa the second capital of Sri Lanka from 1017 A.D to 1235 A.D. Polonnaruwa is also a UNESCO world heritage city. You will be able to see the ruins of Royal Palace king Parakramabahu, Audience Hall, the statue of king Parakramabahu, Watadage, the Galpotha, Parakrama Samudraya (Sea of Parakrama) which was built by King Parakramabahu I, covers an area of 5940 acres and the elegant Lotus pond was built in 12th century. There are also famous monument of worship such as the Gal Viharaya which has 4 magnificent carved Buddha statues, Kiri Vehera (the remains of a former Temple of the Tooth Relic) and Shiva Temple
Transfer to Minneriya / Habarana
Minneriya Jeep Safari
Do a jeep safari in Minneriya National park. The park covers an area of 8,889 hectares giving home to 160 species of birds about 25 species of reptiles, 26 fish species, 09 amphibians and more than 78 butterfly species.
The park is ideal place for elephant and leopard watching.
Elephant Back Safari.
Ride on an Elephant Back crossing through rivers & beautiful jungles.

DAY 03 : Dambulla / Matale / Kandy

 

Breakfast at Hotel.
Transfer to Dambulla.
Dambulla Rock temple was built by King Walagambahu during the 1st Century B.C. The major attraction of Dambulla is the largest and best preserved cave temple complex which covers an area about 2,100 m². Dambulla is a UENESCO world heritage site. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding and the paintings are done on the ceiling. There are a total of 153 Buddha statues 3 statues of Sri Lankan kings and 4 statues of god and goddess. Transfer from Dambulla to Matale
Visit a Spice Garden
Visit a spice garden in Matale to see different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for. Clients will be able to see different spices and how some of these spices are grown and processed. Witness Cookery demonstrations as well.

This culinary tour is an ideal way by which the discerning traveler can immerse himself or herself in the history and the ethos of Sri Lanka, its people and their customs and of course most importantly their food. You can learn about Sri Lankan spices and various Sri Lankan cookery methods
Transfer from Matale to Kandy.
Kandy was the last capital of Sinhala Kings. The valley of Kandy is surrounded by magnificent hills which made it as the last bastion. Today Kandy offers its visitors rich collection of art and craft and historical buildings. It includes a collection of ancient temples buildings, handicrafts, souvenirs, bazaar and gem museum and the temple of tooth relic which houses the most sacred Buddhist relic in the world, the Tooth of Lord Buddha. Visit the Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum and a lapidary. Witness a Cultural Show. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel (As per selected hotel category)

DAY 04 : Kandy/ Ramboda / Nuwara Eliya / Adams Peak

Transfer from Kandy to Ramboda
Visit a Tea Factory.
Sri Lanka is world famous for Ceylon Tea. Clients will be shown a tea plantation & a factory. You will be able to witness the processing of Tea and also taste a cup of nice & hot Ceylon Tea. You can buy various different Tea products from the Tea shop.
Visit the Famous Ramboda Falls.
Ramboda is a breathtaking natural beauty. There are two prominent waterfalls next to each other. Clients could take pictures & enjoy the view from a view deck.
Transfer from Ramboda to Nuwara Eliya
Nuwara Eliya is located at the heart of the hill country 6182 feet above from the sea level. The town is situated at 74 km away along Kandy-Nuwara Eliya road and this was rediscovered by British in 1827. It is still very much like an old English town with styled Bungalows and buildings. The cool calm climate, gorges rolling tea plantation which makes the best “Ceylon tea” and the breathtaking beautiful waterfalls makes Nuwara Eliya one of the most beautiful town in the world. Nuwara Eliya also has one of the finest 18 whole golf courses in South Asia.
You can visit the Golf Club , Strawberry Farms & pick some strawberries.You can take a nice evening walk around the Gregory Lake. Visit the beautiful club house & Have a hot & nice cup of Ceylon Tea Do a peddling boat ride.
Transfer to Seetha Amman Temple.
A temple for Lord Rama, Seetha Devi, Luxshmana and Hanuman built on the sides of the stream where Seetha Devi bathed. This is considered a prime location in the Ramayana Trail. Worshiped by many thousands of Hindu Devotees around the globe.
Check-in to Wathsala Inn at Adams Peak & rest till late night.
Transfer from Nuwara Eliya to Adams Peak.
The mountain is located in the southern reaches of the Central Highlands. It is revered as a holy site by Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims and Christians. It has specific qualities that cause it to stand out and be noticed; including its dominant and outstanding profile, and the boulder at the peak that contains an indentation resembling a footprint.
Start climbing around 01.30 hrs.Reach the peak by early morning. Wait till the amazing sunrise in the morning. Climb down the peak.

DAY 05 : Adams Peak / Benthota

Transfer to Benthota
Full day at Leisure or water sports activities

DAY 06 : Benthota / Colombo

Breakfast at Hotel.
Transfer to Colombo.
City tour of Colombo
In the afternoon, do a city tour of Colombo. Colombo is the commercial and business center of Sri Lanka located on west cost. The city blends together with old colonial type building, high-rise commercial buildings and hotels. It is filled with shopping malls. Some of the finest structures built during the colonial times still preserved in one part of the City. For example, there is a 100-year-old clock tower. And the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) which was a gift to Sri Lanka from the People’s Republic of China.
Optional Visit – Casino
Visit one of the famous Colombo Casinos. You could play Roulette, Poker, Baccarat, and Blackjack to slot games. Enjoy the lavish buffet, any kind of spirits & witness lovely dancing acts while mingling amongst the vibrant & fun loving crowd
